After his episode on Dragonmount Rand will come to realize that he was a bit of a premadonna and in order to unite the land he will humble himself in front of the Seanchan and the Crystal throne so that they can get past their differences and fight the DO.
In this same line of thinking this is why Rand goes to the White Tower a begger. He humbles himself in front of the tower to show them the error of his ways and by doing so will unite everyone for the last battle.
Mysterious deaths in the White Tower at the hands of the Seanchan bloodknives will lead to the search for and capture of Mesaana.

When Rand battles the darklord the part of him that is Lews Therin will die. I think after this last battle there will be more Saidin or Saidar, instead an age will start this is "modern times" This is why it is especially important that Rand has started his schools, there will be no age of legends rather a modern age

The Seanchan after their attack on the White Tower will be set upon more vigorously by Trollocs and Myrdraal. Tuon will finally decide, because of Matt to join forces with Rand's forces to fight the last battle in return for assistance to reclaim Seanchan. Rand will bow to Tuon when Tuon finally agrees to help at Tarmon Gai'don.

Mesanna is posing as a novice in the white tower.
She arrived at Moridin's fortress in the prologue of Gathering Storm wearing a plain white, unadorned dress. She also avoided detection during the Great Purge, when Egwene forced all the Aes Sedai to reswear on the Oath Rod in Gathering Storm.
I think that the Dark One's plan will reveal itself as much more subtle and sinister than we have seen so far. Rather than a showdown of large forces or the One Power, Shaitan's strategy will be more akin to how he entrapped Rand into using the "true source" by sacrificing Semirhage. Rand's destruction of the Chodan Kal implies that his plan of attack will also be more subtle.

When Rand kneels before the crystal throne, either it will not work on him because he can channel, or he will counter it with the power. Alternatively, perhaps the compulsion laid upon Rand will have a stabilizing effect; a command to stay sane or some such thing.

I predict that Mat will do/suggest something that will make it so that the female half of the One Power is tainted. We all now how much he hates it and and much he doesn't like Aes Sedai. I can't see him getting rid of the OP altogether cause then what would the next Dragon Reborn use to seal the prison? That's my two cents.
