Noal Charin will reveal to Rand that he is Jain Farsrider, and advise him on how to fake his death.
OK,OK it isn't really that likely, but Rand really needs some help, the poor guy!
Rand will be turned to the Shadow by thirteen dreadlords channeling through thirteen myrdraal. He will become the Champion of the Shadow. Either he will be brought back to the Light (perhaps by Cadsuane teaching him laughter and tears), or killed (possibly by Alivia) and returned (either by Mat blowing the Horn of Valere or by ripping Rand from Tel'Aran'Rhiod like Birgitte).

The Borderlander armies conspicuously converging upon Caemlyn intend to entreaty Rand to turn his attention to the Borderlands where, as they believe, the true battle will be fought, and Rand, having better things to do, will delegate the responsibility to the one who was born for it, and of course Lan will try to refuse, at which point Nynaeve will surely inform him that finally, the time has indeed come for him to raise the Golden Crane - in public, of course, so Lan will be obligated to carry out her wishes. :)

Despite prophecy here there and everywhere, Rand will not die in Tarmon Gaidon and perhaps not even break the world...I think that actions of the Dark One to kill Rand (against thewill of the pattern) will result in changing the pattern in Rands favour meaning that the prophecies of his death are void, and that the breaking of the world might not need to come again.

The Seanchan will discover the Horn of Valere in the Tower. Mat will have to bargain with or beg Tuon to get it back (or perhaps steal it).

Before the end, Elaida will make a surprising and extraordinary sacrifice to assure Rand makes it to Tarmon Gai'don. In the very least, she will willingly submit to Egwene as the Amyrlin Seat, but she may go as far as to lay down her own life for his.
The first chapter of the first book will be the last chapter of the last book. ;)

By the time that the final battle comes, Randland will be split into 6 different parts. The north (Kandor Arafel and Shienar) will be led by Nynaeve and Lan.
The North West (Saldea, 2 Rivers Ghealdan and Arad Doman) will be the new Manetherin and led by Perrin.
The South West (Tarabon, Amadacia, Altara and the Almoth Plain) will be led by Mat and Tuon.
The South East (Illian, Tear, Murandy and the Aiel Waste) will be led by Rand.
The Centre (Andor, Cairhien) will be led by Elayne.
and of course Tar Valon will be led by Egwene.
Tuon will probably inherit all of the Seanchen empire and Tenobia will die to let Fayle inherit.

By the unspoken rules of epic storytelling, Moiraine was expendable. As a guide character, her purpose was to guide the young hero and set him on his course. Oftentimes this character sacrifices him/herself to preserve the life of their pupil, as did happen in WOT.
But, the rules also have it that she must return eventually. Whether in body or in spirit, even if she is mentioned for only a sentence, she must smile approvingly on Rand after he saves the day.
Egwene will bond Gawyn, but in TAR or his dreams or the GOI, not in person.

Taim is an ambitious bastard but has turned to the shadow after he met Rand. He did this because his ambition to become second most important was not fulfilled. By serving the dark one he hopes to become number one.

The Dark one cannot be killed by Rand or anyone else. So he will be imprisoned yet another time. Waiting for his next opportunity (turning of the wheel)to break the wheel. He will need new lackeys though for they will be destroyed

Demandred will try to get Galad killed after finding out he cannot usefully compell him (because of his righteousness in the extreme). He will use Bryar to do this because Bryar hates perrin and galad will strike a deal with Perrin

When Rand and Shaidar Haran are fighting in the last battle, Fain will kill SH with the dagger because Rand is his. In doing so he will weaken the dark one enough to let Rand seal the bore. Meanwhile Mat will kill Fain.

I think that the volcano will explode while the Aes Sedai are battling each other. And that explosion will cause the Aes Sedai to end thier "petty squabling" just in time for the Seanchan attack.
