Maybe this will help to define the DO ability to control andresurrect Souls. At the end of the first book Rand sees his "mother" tortured by a fade. Since it's obvious Kari wasn't a friend of the dark,if it wasn't an illusion(and kari's reaction when freed it's a proof of the opposite) how has the DO imprisoned her ,if he can controll only darkfriend's souls?
