The Dark One will destroyed, not simply re-imprisoned at the Last Battle. As a result the Creator will also be destroyed having performed his duty and the True Source will disappear with the True Power. That means an end to Aes Sedai, the Pattern with its Age Lace and everything else that provides oppression and wonderment for the common person.
Unlikely considering Jordan's underlying philosophy and the series' title Wheel of Time ;)

The Wind that begins the first chapter of each book will play a disproportionate role in the beginning of the final book by carrying a poisonous cloud, killing a major character, or demolishing Shayol Ghul.

Will lead his Children of the Light against the other armies of the Children in the Last Battle, but will do so on the side of the Dragon, in juxtaposition to the other Children who believe Rand is the Dark One or some such thing through trickery, or a Darkfriend leader, like Valda or maybe Demandred.

Rand will venture to Shayol Ghul during the Last Battle. He will confront the Dark One there. He then realizes that it is impossible to destroy something intangible. He will then let the Dark One infect his soul. But, in fashion with LTT, once the Dark One takes his soul, he will destroy himself, thusly injuring, but not destroying the DO. This will set off the next chain of events, including resealing the now weakened Dark One by a combination of Elayne's angreal and Egwene's cuendillar talents.

The Tinkers will be present at the Last Battle. There, the Ogiers and the Aiel will venture in to battle. The Aiel and Ogiers will then begin to sing two separate battle chants. Then the Tinkers will begin to sing. And then, the songs will mesh. The Ogiers singing to nature, the Aiel singing to the battle, and the Tinkers singing for life. This will be the "Song". The song of harmony and life.

Egwene will raise a rebellion within the walls of the White Tower. And when she does, the Seanchan will attack. Being that the Seacnchan are too great of a force to defeat and they were caught off guard, the Tower will be captured. It is then when Gareth Bryne will ride upon the Tower. Simultaneously, with the sway of his mother, the White Cloaks will help to defeat the Seanchan because Galad is the Lord Captain Commander. Then, Gawyn will arrive with the Younglings to fight for the Tower. In the chaos, Egwene will go up to the Amyrlin's Room and will stop a sul'dam from locking the a'dam around Elaida's neck.

I believe that as the dire state in the White Tower worsens, and the black ajah hunters in the tower get desperate they will test Egwene and find that she is good. Hence placing the true cracks in the tower, they know Egwene is good they cant be sure about Elaida.
