Well, there's a lot of backstabbing and treachery in the Tower, but I personally think any plots concerning false Dragons are limited to the Red Ajah's elevation and subsequent stilling of them. Especially in the case of Rand, it seems that the Tower is too divided to devise anything outside of what Siuan, Verin, and Moiraine created.
