I was re-reading A Path of Daggers last night and I noticed that when Cadasuane summoned Alanna, and threatened her, Alanna filled herself up with the One Power, and, here's the kicker... The amulet on Cadsuane's head got cool. Jordan happens to mention after someone nearby embraced the power, this specific piece of jewelery gets cool. Now does that sound familiar. If it does, it might give one reason why Cadasuane is so comfortable around men who can channel.
