Galad is a darkfriend. The first hint I got of this is in FOH when Moghedien was meeting with the 10 black ajah. She made the comment that Nynaeve had been in the village of Sienda two days before, but they had vanished. The only person who had recogized them was Galad. The second occurence was in Ghealdan on the day a boat came in and a riot was started between the Whitecloaks and the followers of the Prophet over possesion on a boat. Moghedien present at the boat in disguise and was one of the refugees that Nynaeve bought passage for. How did she know where Nynaeve and Elayne were?? Galad was the only one present at both places. Seems like Galad is a darkfriend reporting to at least one of the Forsaken.

1998-07-01 Robin, I like this thought, it would be rather ironic if he was...to me it would be Jordanesque. Although I will point out that Nynaeve mentions to Egwene and Melaine in Tel'aran'rhoid(the night they were in Sienda)that they were in Sienda. So if Moghedien was watching at that time(as Birgitte suggests), she would have overheard and known that. But that doesn't mean it happened this way, I actually want to find more on Galad.

1998-07-24 I doubt that Galad is evil. He's always been described as the kind of person who would never do anything wrong no matter what the cost. In other words, he wouldn't become a darkfriend because that would be wrong. Mogheiden knew where to find them because she was tracking them in the dream world. She followed Egwene after she met with Elayne, she followed Nynaeve andBirgitte. She didn't always know where they were, but often enough she did. I think this is the same way Sammael knew Rand was in the waste. Everytime Egwene, Elayne and Nainaeve met in TaR they talked about where they were and how far they had traveled. It wouldn't have been exceptionally diffilcult for the forsaken to find them.
