📁 What do the colors that the ta'veren see mean?

I think the colors that the ta'veren are seeing are indicative of a time and place where all three ta'veren will be needed in order to pull at the Pattern enough to keep either Rand or all three ta'veren alive, so as to survive and/or win The Last Battle. Assuming that the Dark One wishes to shatter the Wheel and destroy the Pattern, the Pattern and the Wheel would fight to keep themselves whole, and it's possible that the colors are hints that Tarmon Gaiden is quickly approaching. From a Real World standpoint, I also think this is likely since Robert Jordan has publicly stated that only two to three books remain in the series, and that Tarmon Gaidon will most likely take two books.

2000-11-23 Currently I am in your camp, I think it has something to do with Tarmon Gaidon and the Pattern. Since its all three of them, then it isn't related to the DO. I wonder if it will get better or worse depending on how close they are to eachother.

2005-02-15 its interesting, also, to note how all three of them are beginning to converge now. Mat is heading north from Ebou Dar (after like 3 books of being stuck there), Perrin is making his way eastwards across Ghealdean, and Rand seems to be sitting around in Tear, rather than jumping from Illian to Caemlyn to Cairhein and back in the same day. And once they get back together they will probably stay together, since Rand needs all the help he can get in holding his empire together against the Black Tower/Forsaken/various rebels

2005-02-16 I may be wrong, but I think that the colors have been stronger for those who are farther away. When Mat thinks of Rand the colors are worse than when he thinks of Perrin when Perrin is only a country away where as Rand is half a contenent away.

2005-02-16 There's a vague similarity between the Boy's color visions and Min's viewing of the fireflies. But the fireflies involved more than just the ta'veren. Does this mean folks like Nynaeve will start seeing colors as well?

Perrin is near the Shaido camp (think it's like 40 miles away, but near for Traveling distances), which is in the north eastern part of Altara (right on the edge of the mountains).
