The High Lady of Suroth once mentioned something about the Empress and The Court of Nine Moons, so maybe the Daughter of the Nine Moons is the Empress' daughter. And since the Seanchan claim to be the descendants of Artur Hawkwing (if I remember correctly) all this Mat is Artur Hawkwing business is probably the link to his destiny...
