I'm new here so I'll try not to offend anyone. The argument that I see going on is weather Tam al'Thor was a Warder, or if he was Warder trained. Let's look at the facts, that we are aware of, Tam left the Two Rivers seeking adventure and ended up Second in Command of the Companions of Illian. I'm going to pause here and pose a question: Who was first? Who better to lead the Companions than a Warder? Most probably the Warder of the advisor to the King! So that would give Tam access to a Warder w/out him being the former Warder of a dead Aes Sedai, who hardly survive. If you doubt this re-read the conversation between Myrelle and Egwene in aCoS. just a thought. Peace favor your swords.

1998-08-07 Blademaster, don't worry about offending anyone,(Mosleth probably already has!), so whatever you want to write or think feel free. You have made some good deductions here. Although I am not sure that I have ever heard of a Warder leading a battle(they definitely are capable). I like how RJ didn't make Tam first in command, it leaves us to wonder who could have been ahead of him.
