I think Padain Fain killed Asmodean, Yeah I know As recognizes him and everyone is like how? Well RJ said we have all the clues we need, from ALL the books well way backin Book 1 at the Eye, Aginor, when questioned by Moiraine, said that they, he and Balthemal, folled him, pointing to Mat, who was carrying the SL dagger, hmmm not only that but the DO seems to want Fain dead, (him being a renegade, I got one on this too but that is way out there and niether here nor there.) So his description, even if it is only that Dark Friend from SL is spread around, so that covers the recognization, now for his Immediate death, well Fain is growing in power and the only other person we have seen killed by the dagger died pretty darn quick. So there is my theory and marginal proof that PF killed Asmodean. Peace favor your swords.
