Rand is the Dragon Reborn. We all know this for fact. (Anyone who disputes this is an idiot. Seen as how this is the case, the Seanchan, just like the Aiel and Seafolk they will follow the Dragon Reborn. Wheather he is called the Dragon Reborn, He Who Comes With Dawn or whatever the others are (which I cannot remember at this time) people will follow him. And the fact that the channelers at Ebou Dar are old, for some reason I don't think that makes them frail. If anything, more experienced. Another point is just because they have women that can channel, Nynaeve knows how to unleash them. My crazy opinion is that even they are not a force to be reckoned I think as a bit of dry humour on RJ part I think the Seanchan will be easily beaten. Just think, everytime they show themselves they will get beaten. Who knows?

1998-07-14 That would be interesting to possibly find out if the Seanchan have any prophecies concerning the Dragon Reborn...I think that one of them mentions something like that to Rand when he and Aviendha go on their 'trip', but I still do not believe they will ever concede to anyone no matter if he is the Dragon Reborn or not.

1998-07-20 Why is everybody underestemating the Seanchans? They are compareable to the German army during ww2 efficiant, well eqiped and well trained. That they would loose to the old UNTRAINED(!!!these ladies are those who never went to/were acsepted in the withe tower ) ladies is a serious underestemating. Releasing the Suldames (witch we dont know the number of) recuires beeing at a certain range, doesnt it? The Seanchans have done the ecsact opositt of your idea, they almoast allways winn (they have only been beaten once. With help from the Horn of Valer!!!). Just remember the Seanchans are much more powerfull than youbelive them to be!
