I think that the key to Verin plans is that Aes sedai with the foretelling (Gitana moroso i think), that also set Siuan and moraine on their path. It's some time that i read the books, so i don't remeber the exact reference, but Verin mentions to have had contact with her.I believe she portioned out her prophecies between several people, Siuan, Moraine, Verin, Elaida and who knows who else and what else she told them, but we know these prophecies are behind Siuan's and Elaida's actions why not behind Verin's. Hopefully this thread is picked up by someone who read the books more recently.
