I don't know about the rest of you, but I think it's about time Rand lost himself. It's time for his mysterious, mystical disappearance. (Hidden Biblical application.) Perrin saw Rand in the Wolf Dream in beggar's clothes and a beggar's staff [Min also saw this (Beggar's staff)], and wearing a bandage over his eyes. I really don't have any idea when this will occur, but it will probably be when he's needed it'll be a crazed, "madcap" race to find the Dragon Reborn. Friends and enemies alike looking for him. The only problem is... I think he might have a case of amnesia. And it will take the Bond on him to find him... I don't know about the amnesia bit, but I do believe in the Wolf Dream. Anyway enjoy the theory. I might be bugged out with this theory... but just like A Tribe Called Quest, ah'm "Buggin' out, buggin' out, buggin' out, ya' buggin' out...

To disappear, his bond must be removed or cut. I have heard this theory before, but it represents a lot more chaos then I ever want to see happen. All hell would break loose if he disappeared(remember when he was taken in the box.) Maybe the staff and beggar and bandage over his eyes is after Elayne gets her hands on him...j/k

You may note that in the (Jewish) bible it says that the messiah (prophesized one who will save the world) is actually a beggar or leaper (I can't remember which) and, unlike most beggars, he (or she) always stands at the ready. This would fit in with the story and how Rand (the Dragon Reborn) is prophesiced to save everyone form the dark one....Just a thought...
