Two things were great disappointment to me in this sad story. First, Lanfear, she's the most dangerous, she should be the last of the entire bunch. Why should she die in the middle of the story or maybe in the beginning? Second, moiraine's cruelty to Lan. Did not she know that he wants another. Why should she make that to him? Unpleasant things cannot be true. Both of them. Lanfear should reappear but let her alone and see what was the reason to bind Lan to Myrelle. Because she wants him back. Lan not being able to feel moiraine is the strongest proof of her death. But since nobody believes she's dead then she had to just shift the bond to somebody Lan will not be happy with. moiraine knew what would happen, probably she knew what would happen inside as well.
