Tamyrlin's theory about Lanfear is probably true, especially since I can't believe she's dead without a body, and Asmodean really had no way of knowing who Padan Fain was, but it is POSSIBLE it could have been Fain b/c that dagger kills instantly and Fain seems to have the remarkable ability to show up anywhere, anytime. Seriously. That little twerp gets around! Perhaps As' knew him from a gathering of Darkfriends. I dunno. And it really does seem more likely that Lanfear offed As'. But everyone has to agree to this: Fain is the Speedy Gonzales of the WoT. He's Sting. You never know where he's going to appear next... He *could* have killed As'.
