When they had the plan of using that black collar to control rand the problem with it was that the taint would leak into the woman controlling rand (or any male channeler for that matter) Now how does this apply to alanna(whatever her name is) the aes sedai that has a warder bond on rand should it not also have the taint leaking into her we have seen symptoms in here fear strange behavior... if she is absorbing part of the taint then is it not that much less of the taint that is affecting rand thus in theory that could preserve rand's sanity longer if he was bond to a bunch of chicks (convienently elayne and aviendha can channel)and birgitte would absorb some from elayne this may slow the madness.
