Thoughts About Fel and the Bore

Just a quick note on Fel. There is much discussion about the sealing. Now Fel said that each time the Wheel turns the DO's prison must be whole. He did not say patched. As the Bore was drilled by Lanfear etc. in the Age before this one it was imperfect when this the Third Age began. However, there are seven "spokes" or Ages to the Wheel and the DO has been threatening in each of the turns of the Wheel. So, before the Bore was drilled, the prison was whole. It must have been opened before, most likely at the end of the Second Age in the turning before, and the turning before that. Therefore, I believe that Rand will seal the prison, not with patches like Lews Therin, but he will seal it as the Creator had done before so that when the next turning occurs, that is the First Age again, the prison is whole. I would also like to know, I haven't paid too much attention to this point though, was Mierin(Lanfear) a darkfriend working cynically to try to free the DO when the Bore was drilled or was she turned by the shock of touching the DO's power or did she just decide afterwards to turn? If anybody knows, I would appreciate an e-mail.

I agree, the prison will have to be 'sealed', not patched. And about Lanfear, she supposedly was not working as a darkfriend and didn't swear over to the DO until about five years after the Bore was drilled.
