Just finished reading the PoD prologue. Many people are falling into a common mis-understanding about prophecies. Not everything seen, Min's viewings, Egwene's and Perrin's dreams, are literal. Now my point, the viewing of Rand with the cloth over his eyes and walking around as a beggar. We now know what this is refering to, The Fisher. Rand isn't necessarily going to be doing this but he does symbolize this piece in the particular game Moridin is playing. A game which only nine people living Remember.

1998-10-26 Good point Booticus, seeing Rand as a beggar could very well just be symbolic of 'The Fisher'. Which might then symbolize as you said that Rand is going to play along with Moridin's schemes? A symbol within a symbol within a viewing. No wonder why there are thousands of theories.
