Logain's Role

Logain bonded that aes sedai. the other asha'man says something like, another one logain? the m'hael won't like that. i don't think he likes us taking any.--not exact quote, but close ithink with bonding comes some ability (maybe not compulsion) but a way of coercing them. remember alanna was asked if she tried it on rand, but she said it didn't work! so logain bonded the aes sedai and was able to make her obey. this all brings up the strange remark made by logain--he'd have me hoeing the fields with the boys, (then said in quiet voice) or buried under it--again, not exact quote is taim just jealous of another 'false dragon' and/or powerful channeler, is he jealous of another famous guy like himself or does he see a possible threat in logain, be it usurping authority or possibly discovering that he is a forsaken?

Taim's fear seems to be consistent with his attitude about Rand. He doesn't like the fact that someone is more powerful or has more authority than himself. Logain doesn't have the Asha'man but it appears that some look up to him and that rubs Taim the wrong way, especially since Logain doesn't care to follow Taim's 'rules'. But a more important question you brought up was the bonding, is it then dependent only on strength, whichever of the two are stronger controls the bond no matter who made it?
