don't exactly have a theory, just a few thoughts on why Cyndane might or might not be who. If she is Lanfear, I think that to escape Finnland, she must have worked together with Moiraine (why could be to save her own life - remember, with the *gars we find out that death is not a pleasant process). After they were safely out again - I think they'd come out in Tel'aran'rhiod - Lanfear, being as good as she is there, would find a way out of the doorless Tower of Genjei, trap Moiraine in Dreamland and feel very sorry for herself when the DO gets her again. I did, however, prefer the theory about Cyndane being someone new, ie. not a Forsaken. My reason for this is that if Cyndane was Lanfear in a new body, just telling Moggy would scare the pants off her and make her Lanfear's, even if Moridin does come first for both of them. Correct me if I'm wrong (and I probably am), but I think Moggy tries to stand up to Cyndane or something (I don't have the book nearby and it's been a while since I read it).
