This theory is not to say who Demandred is, this theory is to say who Demandred COULD BE. I first will list the mentioned persons (and I hope I don't forget anyone): (note: I DO NOT say these are not DF. I don't believe Taim being Demandred, I do believe he is a DF) Mazrim Taim King Roedran Lunar Galgan (Only heard once about this one) Jarid Sarand (the same) Charlz Guybon Asanuwa Masema/the Prophet o/t DR Lord Bashere Then we also have something else. Not a person, just a place. Shara and the Land of the Madmen are mentioned. Some of them are to be ruled out very easely. Let's start with assuming he has not died already. So Asanuwa and Masema are ruled out. Next to do: Persons RJ ruled out himself. Only Mazrim Taim, as far as I know. And then the last one. RJ once said Demandred did only appear on screen, except the Forsaken meetings (not these words, but I'm not native English, and I don't know how to say this). But Lunar Galgan IS NOT RULED OUT BY THIS. I do not know when exactly RJ said this, but I DO know it was before KoD, when Lunar Galgan appeared for the first time. So who are left? King Roedran and Lunar Galgan. O, and, by now, the Land of the Madmen and Shara, but I forget to say RJ also stated he WAS (sorry for using capitals so much.) mentioned. And no one of Shara or the Land of the Madmen are mentioned. And because this was also stated when RJ said Demandred did not appear, everyone from the Seanchan continent is also ruled out. So now King Roedran and Lunar Galgan are truly the only ones left (or did I forget someone not ruled out by this?). Lets see if one of them can be ruled out another way. First Lunar Galgan. Seems easily. The Seanchan had Semirhage/Anath already. AND Lunar Galgan already existed before the Forsaken were freed. But I don't think it's that easy. Seanchan is enormous, so there is room for two Forsaken. And he had an alliance with Semirhage and Mesaana. Which bring me to the second reason he can't be ruled out. Mesaana was also impersonating an existing person. So I don't think Lunar Galgan can be ruled out. And what of King Roedran? Also this time he could just be impersonating someone who already existed. And he united Murandy. As said in the theory I read about this (I just skimmed it, but I already read it a few weeks ago.), the Murandians wouldn't bother attacking the DR. He is going to break the world (I myself think his battle with Asmo in Rhuidian was the largest part of it). But Lunar Galgan also has another good reason. He prepared the attack on the WT. This also destroyed it, and it would have if Egwene hadn't been captured by the WT, because she was the only one who fought back. Conclusion: Lunar Galgan and King Roedran are the only ones who can be Demandred, unless it's someone just mentioned once or twice. I hope this will clear up the mess a bit, because now it's much more clear who we have to think about.
