I'd like to bring up a theory of mine. It seems to me that the AoL was the first age, and Rand's age the obvious third. If that is the case it makes logical sense that there was a 2nd age. So what would it be? The only thing I can find is the age of madness which would be a short age at 100 years. ON the likely chance I'm wrong then what would the 1st age be? In Rhudien the (Da'shain aiel I think) said he could not remember a time when there was no fighting. That seems odd because in the third age most people new at least a remanat of a remanant of the AoL, so would it not be possible that no one remembers what happened before the AoL? It might also be possible that the changing of an age was brought on not by a violent end but perhaps a peaceful way. If that were the case then the people of the AoL would (might really) not bother to remember it because it was deamed unimportant. Seeing as I am now rambling idly I will now stop typing and submit my theory.
