After PoD i think that Logain will soon become the leader of the Asha'man. the reason for this is simple, Taim is going over to the DO. IF as some ppl think Taim is one of the Forsaken then it's already happened, but if not then he is looking to be one of them. Logain is destined for greatness and what better way than to lead the new hundred companions? if Rand dies for good at the Last battle then he would be sure to take his place at the head of the men. Logain will be the "the one who comes after" there is not a doubt in my mind. i think that some ppl are trying to read to much into some of the little things that Rj has put into the books. Taim is jealous of Rand and want's to over though him, sure, that stands to reason. He was a Dragon but he never went through what Logain did. he escaped before they gentled him and went from being the Dragon Reborn to Rand's second. How would you feel if you went from being close to a god then being second to a sheepherder? Logain saw Rand in tEotW and new then that he was going to turn the would upside down. after being let free and healed he would naturally seek out Rand and do what he could to help. after all that Logan went through he had a choice live in the service of Rand or die. Well, that's the way i saw it. Even though Logain only made a small appearance at the end of PoD it is signifcant, he has the sword and the dragon on his collar. he was also telling the 'men with him some things that were not quite the same as what Taim has been telling them.

Tamyrlin #1
1999-03-29 My exact thoughts on the situation would be that Logain will become the next Tamyrlin because Rand will die at Tarmon Gaidon. Logain will lead the 'New World'. And as you pointed out, he will start with the Asha'man.
