Verin/Stedding not an error

It is very very possible that Verin used a Well to delve the Ogier. Far Madding's Guardian "duplicates a stedding" atleast as far as not channeling goes and Cadsuane and Nyneave can both use their wells to channel. Therefor if Verin has a Well she would be able to channel in the stedding. The only odd part of that is that the Ogiers asked her to do it, they should have thought she couldn't.

(Frenzy for Tamyrlin) <br>I could've sworn i've seen this as a theory before. (i know i've seen it on the message boards.) This is more of a response to an theory than a theory itself, but since i can't find the proper place to file it, i'll put it here.

RJ himself has answered this quite a few times, I think. Those that channel develop certain sensitivities, and one of the things is that if they touch a person without a soul, they can sense the emptiness.

I don't think she really needed to use the power, maybe she could just feel the wrongness in him without needing the One Power. Do Talents need the One Power? Can an Aes Sedai Fortell or sense Ta'verene inside a stedding?

I thought that I had heard/read that RJ said one does not even need to be a channeler so long as one knows what to look for. <br><br>That makes sense to me, since Grey Men can pass through both channeler and non-channeler just as easily. That is, it does not matter if you are a channeler or non-channeler when it comes to noticing the lack of a soul... <br><br>...or rather not-noticing the lack. <br><br>...um... not-noticing the unnoticed of what is otherwise noticed. <br><br>"What is love?"

Tamyrlin this theory IS here elsewhere, under Elder Haman's "Robert Jordan Errors?" in this same category. I stand by my statements therein, and am disappointed to hear that RJ is trying to rationalize the error. The man must be starting to think he is the Creator, or something.

Didn't Sheriam touch a greyman (souless) in the Dragon Reborn, did Nynaeve or Egwene comment on seeing the glow around her before she wove the dome of air?

**Didn't Sheriam touch a greyman (souless) in the Dragon Reborn, did Nynaeve or Egwene comment on seeing the glow around her before she wove the dome of air?** <br><br>Yes she did, however, Sheriam used the power to create the dome, not necessarily to sense the soulessness of the Greyman.
