Bringing Caraline Damodred into the equation is an interesting angle, but i doubt it. Min's viewing was that Rand would fail without a woman who was dead and gone, and that Min interpreted her Viewing to mean that Rand would fail without Moiraine. That's all we know of that Viewing, which leaves it open for interpretation. We don't know if the Viewing showed an image of Moiraine, or if it showed an image of a dead woman, or a symbolic image, such as Moiraine's gem or something associated with her. We don't know if what Min saw could be associated with Caraline instead of Moiraine. And Min did have viewings of Caraline while in the camp, so...

While this is an interesting idea, you are neglecting to consider the other evidence that Moiraine will be back. Granted it is all circumstantial but taken with Min's viewings gives a compelling case. I am referring to the letter that she sent to Thom, the viewing of Thom taking her gem out of a fire, her comment that she knows the face of the man she will marry and how she seems to somehow know a great deal about Thom. I think Caroline will be important. But I don't think that Rand will fail w/out her.

I do think Moiraine will come back, however the only person who could possibly take her place in Min's viewing is Cadsuane. <br><br>TITLE: Crown of Swords <br><br> CHAPTER: 19 - Diamonds and Stars <br><br> The shawl had graced Merana's shoulders for over twenty-five years when Cadsuane announced her retirement from the world, her hair already solid gray, and everyone assumed her long dead when the Aiel War erupted another twenty-five years on, but before the fighting was three months old, she reappeared, accompanied by two Warders, men long in the tooth yet still hard as iron. It was said Cadsuane had had more Warders over the years than most sisters had shoes. She is the only other person that fit. I don't think Caroline is much more than a minor character.
