Now I agree that Mat is a newcomer, it doesn't rule out the possibility. I mean, time works differently in Tel'aran'rhoid. To Birgitte, Gaidal was reborn just months ago, but Olver must be 12 or 13. Whatever happens, Mat is going to be with the heroes. Think on it.

1998-08-18 I would agree that time differential is very skewed so we really don't know how old Gaidal could be...maybe he will show up later on as someone else. I like the idea that he will be apart of the heroes.
